From the yuhu dashboard select the settings icon located in the top right-hand corner of the screen. Select "Payments" from the dropdown. This will take you to the payments page.
Once on the payments page you will see that autopay is currently off and a button labeled "Click to win one month free rent and setup autopay". Click the button to continue to sign in with your online banking information.
You will see the following popup inviting you to connect your bank account using your online banking login information. Note: We do not collect or store your banking login information, the sign in here is a portal to your online banking which authorizes yuhu to link the account. We use a third-party service Plaid for secure connection to your banking, more info see here https://plaid.com/how-it-works/.
After clicking "Agree", select your financial institution and sign in using your online banking login information. You can then select the bank account that you would like to connect for autopay.
Important Note: If your banking institution is not listed or you would like to manually link your account you can select "If your bank is not listed when clicking above, click here" from the payments screen as seen in step 2. This will present you with the option to enter your: Transit/Branch Number, Institution Number, and Account Number.
Tip: If you are not sure which numbers are which, click the blue button that says “Where do I find these details?”, and it will show you where each of those numbers is located on a cheque.
After linking your bank account, you will be presented with the yuhu Pre-Authorized Payment (PAP) agreement. This agreement outlines the terms around Yuhu's autopay service as well as our "Rent Lottery" promotion. After reading the terms you can select "I Agree" and that will complete the signup for autopay!
